Doll Stands - Lower Cost Than AG?

Is the a quality alternative to the high priced AG doll stands?

NO! You can't find a better doll stand than what AG produces. I've tried and tried and tried with no luck. They are pricey, but worth every penny. The base is heavy so the doll won't tip over. The metal rod is actually a heavy-duty tube that screws into the base. It won't be coming apart when you pick your doll up. The waist thing is easily adjustable in case you have a fat PM doll like I do, and you can bend it down small again to go around the newer ones.

Do you have a Pre Mattel Felicity? Do your clothes fit over the undergarments? I really want them but worry about her clothes fitting. . . I might just buy them to have, they are exquisite reproductions.

PM Felicity's HAVE to have the stays to get into current dresses and not worry about the Velcro popping open, especially the early ones. PM Lissie's had to have the stays to get into their PM dresses too, lol.

wait, do you mean I can adjust the width of the doll gripper thing? Cause I hate my stand, it's way to tight, I feel like it will hurt my doll to be in it.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">LOL, so true! I guess it was fantastic marketing to make it so that you NEEDED the undergarments if you wanted the dresses. My lissie's had her corset/stays on for 12 years now. I took them off recently, and she's corset shaped!!! LOL. I put them back on right away.
